Service Description

This session will be a very special one, with an informative and interactive visit from "Geckoes Wildlife Encounters" who will spend an hour with us, providing our little wildlife warriors with a hands on, captivating Wildlife Experience. This exciting visit will be a Mammal Only Encounter, where children will have the opportunity to pet and have photos taken with the following animals - - Wombat - Squirrel Glider - Bandicoot We are also planning to read "Diary of a Wombat" while Miss Wombat listens along with our little friends, too! A perfect educational opportunity for the kids (and parents!) to ask lots of questions and get to know one of our beautiful natives animals! Please note the session price includes the hour visit from Geckoes Wildlife, alongside our sensory set ups, which will be ready for when you arrive and be available until 11:30. So if for any reason, your child gets restless they are more than welcome to start playing! We ask that children are seated with their parent or guardian during the presentation and are gentle and respectful of the animals when petting and listen to the handler's instructions. Although touching is usually only recommended for children over 2, children slightly younger will be able to, provided they only touch where the handler shows them to. We want this to be an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone! Due to the nature of this visit, if for whatever reason you are unable to attend the session, please ensure you provide at least 24 hours notice. Any cancellations within 24 hours before the session start time will not be provided a session make-up credit.
